Michael Eming Chan was born January 31, 1982, in Hong Kong.
Cheryl Brenna Andrews was born August 24, 1982, in San Diego.
They grew up far apart, but with similar interests and aspirations.

They knew of each others' existence since 2000, brushing past
each other in the bustling hallways and galleries of California
College of Arts and Crafts. But they did not meet until, perchance,
they were introduced by a mutual friend at a gathering at Michael's
previous apartment in the Mission. It was an instant connection.

Now, in 2009, they have laughed together, played together, worked
together, and lived together.

On January 6, 2009, Michael asked Cheryl if she would stay together
with him for the rest of their lives, to a resounding "yes!"
